The activities that can be carried out in GASBAS have been determined according to the Free Zones Law No. 3218. In this respect, these activities have been specified as follows: Manufacturing, purchase-sale, assembly-disassembly, maintenance-repair, banking, insurance, financial leasing, warehouse management, workplace leasing and other activities. In addition to these, insurance, banking and consulting activities can be carried out at GASBAS.
GASBAS allows a structure with awareness and contemporary understanding on protection of environment and global resources. It is not likely for manufacturing facilities containing waste materials that may harm the environment to obtain permission.
TENANT USERS
- This duration is 20 years for the companies to operate in manufacturing activity.
- This duration is 15 years for other areas of activity.
- License application fee is $ 5.000-USD.
INVESTOR USERS
- This duration is 45 years for the companies to operate in manufacturing activity.
- This duration is 30 years for other areas of activity.
- License application fee is $ 5.000-USD.
The workplace lease license to be obtained by investor users is granted if needed, with a maximum duration of 5 years, if deemed appropriate by the General Directorate of Free Zones Overseas Investment and Services.
It is possible to obtain an operating license for 49 or 99 years regarding special investments to be evaluated by the General Directorate of Free Zones Foreign Investments and Services on project basis.
